Savini is an Attorney-at-Law by profession with over nine years of experience in practice. Savini specialises in Corporate, Regulatory and Securities Law. She has extensive experience in acquisitions, including conducting of legal due diligences on both private and listed entities. She has been a part of some of the largest private acquisition deals in Sri Lanka and several cross-border transactions of similar nature. She regularly advises companies on matters relating to rights issues, private placements and foreign direct investments.

She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Warwick, UK in 2012 and went on to complete her Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice (LPC) for Solicitors at the University of Law, London in 2013.  She thereafter took oaths as an Attorney-at-Law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka in 2015 and started her career at Nithya Partners (Attorneys-at-Law), where she served for a period of six years, first as an Associate and later as a Senior Associate of the Corporate, Commercial and M&A division. Savini is currently completing her Executive Master of Laws (E.LL.M) at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
